Judith Middleton: CEO
Judith has extensive experience in strategic marketing and business development. She achieved much acclaim and strong ICT industry experience in her term as Marketing Manager for the Cape Information Technology Initiative (CITI). She was also a Director of CITI, Calling the Cape (Call Centre Investment Initiative) and a member of the Board of Advisors to the Cape Manufacturing Advisory Committee. Judith read towards a Bachelor of Arts degree, in communications, and a diploma in business and marketing management. She garnered excellent marketing experience in the UK where she undertook marketing strategy implementation for a variety of IT clients.

Maria Oosthuizen: Account Director
Maria has been part of the DUO team since January 2007. During this time, she has gained extensive experience in delivering strategic marketing and PR value to a variety of ICT clients. In addition to client management, Maria works closely with the DUO team ensuring value and quality delivery across all of DUO’s clients. Before joining DUO, Maria spent six years as the Marketing Manager for Progress Software, prior to which she headed up the marketing department for Realtime Computer Services. Maria has a National Diploma in Public Relations from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Mandy Graham: Account Executive
Mandy joined DUO in May 2010. She manages the Vox Orion, Vox Telecom, Connection Telecom and idu Software PR accounts and handles project clients with great success. She is also dedicated to increasing exposure for the DUO CSI recipient, Heaven’s Nest. Mandy’s passion lies in result delivery. She has also discovered an enthusiasm for the online space, utilising various analytics tools to evaluate SEO potential for clients and helping to manage and update the DUO website. She obtained a National Diploma in PR (Cum Laude) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Sheri Cumings: Office Manager
Sheri joined DUO in January 2008 to assist us with administration. Although she originally qualified as an architect, Sheri found her passion in administration and event management and has many years’ experience.
Pam Sykes: Copywriting and web strategy
Pam has over 15 years’ experience in research and communications, with a particular interest in information & communication technologies (ICTs). Formerly an award-winning journalist, she is skilled at presenting complex information to audiences in compelling, easily understood ways without sensationalising or dumbing down.
She holds a BA degree in Economics, Philosophy and Journalism from Rhodes University and an MSc, with distinction, from the University of Edinburgh.
Carel Alberts: Copywriting
Formerly the editor of iWeek, Carel has over 10 years’ editing and writing experience and a significant track record in the ICT industry.
