Admin Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our technology-focused PR and Digital Marketing agency. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day to day activities for DUO and its clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the workflow of activities briefed to you, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high standard. We expect you to show initiative, drive hard towards excellence and be proactive. Prior agency experience is essential.

Candidate requirements:

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide organisational coordination and administrative support to the team on all SLA’s and projects
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Efficiencies Manager with campaign management on B2B platforms
  • Support the AD/ AM with any client requirements including creating briefing documents, research, saving recordings, researching events and awards, managing deadlines, updating media lists, etc
  • Perform research to support the delivery of technology-orientated press announcements
  • Social Media Management and Scheduling: Manage various social media platforms and schedule posts to maintain a consistent and engaging online presence for DUO
  • Timely and accurate reporting
  • Reviewing design briefs and V1 of designs to ensure alignment with the brief
  • Ensure a seamless working environment by providing effective cross-functional communication
  • Scheduling meetings where necessary and ensuring all preparation for the meeting including status documents, agendas, meeting take-outs and Monday.com updates
  • Regularly update tasks on the relevant platform including deadlines
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field
  • Work experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on traffic management, social media management, and team coordination
  • Matric – Essential
  • Proficient in Google Workspace/Suite – Advantageous
  • Effective Time management – Essential
